CLIFTON HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL WATER SAVINGS

Project description

In 2004 ABA undertook an analysis of the roof areas, downpipe locations and areas of water use within Clifton Hill Primary School and recommended a number of rainwater tanks be installed for toilet flushing and garden watering. This report has formed the basis of a number of grant applications for funding support. It has taken a number of years to find funding for tank installation and plumbing costs. We have just managed, in mid 2008, to have one rain water tank installed for each of the male and female toilets.
